Wrong we have done so many child studies that show across cultures that Males and Female children from birth behave completely different.
One example is taking toddler age children and putting a barrier between them and their mother. Girls almost to the 99th percentile will become vocal crying and exhibiting emotional outburst hardly ever attempting to go over or knock down the barrier. While Male Children first act is to try and go over, around and through the barrier.
Exhibit B: Plenty of studies have been on done on putting Children in rooms with varies types of male and female toys. And again even children who have had no exposer to gender norm toys gravitate almost 100% to their gender norm toys. This is type of behavior is displayed as well in other cultures.
This type of hardwired behavior even extends to primates.... one study was on Captive chimps in Labs. These Chimps where the multi generational off spring of lab chimps, so basically their great great great great grandparents had been born and breed in captivity. Never saw the outside of a lab or even cage. But in the often repeated experiment a Cobra or Some other Snake was put in front of them in a Plexiglass cage covered with a towel. And when the Towel was removed the chimps all went crazy in terror, not some, not 90% but 100%. These chimps had never seen a snake or even the wild. Their ancestors had not either. But somewhere locked in that DNA that survival trait was hardwired in.
They are even finding now that organ transplants recipients are possibly taking on the traits of the donor and even shared memories, because of the sharing of the cells, which is theorized to contain all that data.
If you believe nurture is more important than nature you are incorrect. Your personality, Demeanor, intellect, etc. just like your Height, Strength, Speed, agility is very much biologically controlled by your DNA. Sure their is some variances and sure some people don't max out their God given gifts. But you are not out distancing your genetic code in Sports, Personality, Gender specific behavior.
Sure modern America wants to rewrite these hard cold facts and act like Humans are fluid and societal norms control base behavior but that is not the case. Our Base behaviors influence societal norms and mores and then they reflect them.
