We are spread thin all over the world. We have something like 400 overseas bases. Our military is allegedly tasked with peace keeping, freedom of navigation, nation building/spreading democracy type missions. Yet, for decades our southern border has been wide open to constant invasion by uninvited foreign peasants and drug runners. Why is our border unguarded, while our troops are scattered all over the world?
