They are small cap growth stocks with increasing TV ratings and public interest. This translates to revenue growth. Disinvestment should be reason for the SEC to expel members who refuse to see the trajectory and potential for said growth. Advocating for Mizzou to stop spending on these sports while other members do all the heavy lifting in pushing tv ratings/viewership forward screams for expulsion. Mizzou can’t tout the carriage fee from MO cable subs forever. They need to participate in enhancing the value of streaming subs which relies on content that people will pay for. Personally, the only reason I get ESPN+ is for Mizzou volleyball, WBB and softball.
