That’s a pretty high, and frankly insane standard…

For getting a raise of any kind.
Is this specific to volleyball for some strange reason or in general for all Mizzou sport? Just wondering.
Implying that Sullivan’s accomplishments last year and this year are nothing special, and not deserving of any raise whatsoever, because “all she did was get us back to where we were before” is just crazy.
We aren’t a perennial sweet 16 team and never have been.
The Kreklows, in their 6th year (2005) got us to the final 8 teams. Then in the next 10 years got us to the sweet 16 exactly 1 time (2010). Then made the sweet 16 two years in a row, in 2016 and 2017. And 2017 was the last year we made the sweet 16 until Sullivan accomplished it in 2024.
Sullivan’s accomplishments in her first two years are nothing to be sneered at or devalued because “all she did what get us back to our high point level of the sweet 16” (that we only accomplished 3 times in the last 19 years).
In fact, she took over a complete dumpster fire of a program that went 4-32 in SEC play in 2021-22, and immediately got us back in the NCAA tournament and to the 2nd round in her first season, and now got us to the sweet 16 in just her 2nd season.
She deserves some real gratitude from Mizzou for that (like contract extensions and raises), not your miserly “not one penny more until you get to the elite 8.
