I don't like the conference champ getting an automatic bye. I would take the 12 teams currently in the playoff and rank them 1 through 12, then fill out the bracket accordingly, regardless of conference championship.

A conference champ should get a bid, not necessarily a bye. Kind of like March Madness

Please explain why this message is being reported.
