Tiger Scholarship Fund Members,
We hope you and your family and friends are doing well this holiday season! It has been an exciting fall and start to the winter season for our Mizzou Tigers, and we are looking forward to seeing you throughout December and into January at basketball, wrestling, gymnastics, indoor track and field, swimming and diving and tennis. How about yesterday’s men’s basketball win over No. 1 Kansas, volleyball advancing to the Sweet 16 and women’s basketball winning its fourth-straight game! We also can’t wait for the Music City Bowl on Dec. 30 and are looking forward to seeing many of you in Nashville! You should have received information on tickets yesterday, and please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any questions.
I am writing today to let you know of an exciting change coming to what is currently known as the Tiger Scholarship Fund. Moving forward, the TSF will be reimagined as the Mizzou Athletics Fund. The function of the department and the people who have been serving you will remain unchanged. But we are taking this step for a handful of important reasons:
One, we want to provide clarity to you on how your contributions help many different facets of the Mizzou Athletics Department. The Mizzou Athletics Fund is more than scholarship funding, although that remains a vital part of its charge.
Along with that, we want to simplify our giving programs to more clearly align our donor benefits with the contributions that are so vital to our sustained competitive success. Our goal is to make it easier for you and others to get involved and experience Mizzou Athletics. To that end, the Mizzou Athletics Fund will be made up of three pillars:
Game Day Priority: provides you priority access to the seating and parking options you desire
The Mizzou Leadership Circle: will recognize and steward our top donors who give above and beyond seat-related donations, and joining will unlock additional stewardship opportunities such as VIP events, team travel and special access
The Mizzou Legacy Societies: will recognize lifetime philanthropic support of Mizzou Athletics
And candidly, as you have heard me talk about recently, the upcoming “revenue sharing era” of college athletics is going to be about resource investment to secure top-tier talent. Reimagining our development arm in these ways will provide us the platform necessary to secure the additional resources needed for us to collectively achieve the very specific end goal we all have in mind: winning.
As I have been saying in various interviews, in messages, in person and on virtual town halls, we have to adapt to these upcoming changes to college athletics with a relentless “Will to Win.” We are on a mission to deliver consistent, high-level winning programs to you and Mizzou like we’ve never experienced before, such as SEC championships, consistently competing in the College Football Playoff, our first Final Four, and ultimately national championships.
In order to achieve these experiences together, we need to recognize that our collective Will to Win is going to be measured by our will to invest.

So, what’s next? And how can you continue to help?
In the coming days, you will receive a digital renewal invoice for your 2025-26 football and men’s basketball tickets. You will notice a couple of things:
There will be separate priority donations for football and men’s basketball, in addition to a football ticket cost. Men’s basketball ticket prices will be announced this summer. By breaking up our outdated “umbrella” policy, you will now pay one price for your football tickets and parking and another price for your men’s basketball tickets and parking. This will more accurately reflect what you receive for your investment in our programs.
In most cases, your football ticket price will be higher. Our athletics leadership team has spent significant time over the past several months strategically analyzing all aspects of our operations, and the truth is we remain significantly behind our SEC and regional Power 4 foes in terms of self-generated revenues. This will have an even more pronounced impact on our ability to compete in the revenue sharing era. The football ticket price you will see is based on a study of our market demand and is designed to help us close the resource gap with our peers, and again, help us reinvest in winning.
We understand we are asking a lot of you, and we do not take that for granted. We won’t be able to achieve consistent, high-level competitive success without you. Because of your support and the investments you have made previously, combined with the incredible coaches and staff we have and our alignment with University leadership, I wake up each and every day truly inspired and energized by the opportunities we have in front of us to continue to rise and be a leader in the new era of college athletics. If we continue to lock arms together and approach each day with a relentless Will to Win, there is one thing that’s for certain:
Our best Mizzou moments and memories are ahead of us!
M-I-Z!
