Share links of random X people and bias websites rather that be MSNBC or FOXNEWS (etc) that confirm your own views amongst a crowd that shares your same views?

Why does a democrat go to a liberal slanting platform to post links of people saying things that share their own views?

Why does a republican go to a conservative slanting platform to post links of people saying things that share their own views?

Do you do it for confirmation among likeminded peers?
Do you do it because you feel like you will change someones mind that already agrees with you?
Why do you do it? Why do they do it?

Why do you engage on this particular platform?
