off his recruits. he's succeeding with guys who were sold into the program by the previous guy. yeah i know that's a simplistic perspective but it's accurate.

i think the salesman aspect is still THE most important thing. sure having a big check to offer is a nice kicker but if you're not able to sell your program, you're just another schmuck with a check. and sadly there are a lot or schmucks with a lot of checks out there.
