I am talking about philosophy and the role of government.

while I agree 100% that abortion is a state issue, I think moving it to being a state issue was nothing about philosophy at all. It was a way to have more restrictions on abortion.

Because in many other issues, the Supreme Court has given powers not in the Constitution to the Federal Government....state gun control laws being one of them.

There are issues that you clearly want federal government control (drugs, immigration, etc.) That goes completely against the philosophy of less federal government.

Democrats are at least fairly open on their philosophy, and act on it as well.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
