How should MU hire RP's replacement?

It all depends on if MU is tired of an underachieving program, wants to be more competitive, and is willing to devote the resources necessary.

If I were the AD, I would call the head coaches at some of the top programs (Stanford, South Carolina, UConn, LSU). I would ask: "Who do you think is the best head coach candidate that's not already on your coaching staff?" I would interview them and choose from that list of names.

I'd also want to know what their philosophy is for recruiting, developing, training and winning consistently. I don't think we've gotten much of that from our current and previous coaches.
