A 24-team playoff can't come soon enough.
And Sankey's unwillingness to pursue a structural solution that crowns the SEC the college football top tier will likely haunt the entire league long-term.
If nothing further is going to happen to fix the situation, I would encourage SEC teams to schedule two B1G teams from the bottom of that conference.
If the top SEC teams are all going to have two to three losses, at least show that those losses are to SEC only and that we can feast on the bottom of the B1G just like Ohio State. That would at least give the committee pause.
For example, Mizzou has three wins this year against cupcakes - if two of those were against Purdue & Maryland, that'd paint a different picture.
And if nearly all the SEC teams had two wins over the bottom of the B1G - that'd send a huge message.
