at, this discussion is about what Trump will or won't do from 2025-2029.
I can't even see much of 2016 Trump in this Trump; 2016 Trump would have never released his "eliminate the deep state" agenda 2 days after winning the election. Hell, he had no team, was surrounded by people with different agendas and was fighting everyone inside and out.
If you want to think Trump today is the same Trump as then, you're entitled. I think he has astonishingly better leadership and organization around him (see his campaign) and a crisp, clear agenda and now the understanding of how to execute.
Again, you can view his intent however you wish. I don't think it has changed philosophically. I think he's wiser and surrounded by a massively better team and has a very real chance to impact change.
one example: I don't think he'll chase butterflies in his first 2 years (like trying to revoke the ACA the first time). I think you'll see EO's and legislation on day 1 and this will be a whirlwind, for good or bad, however you see it.
