the owners will make a lot when they sell it after only a few years. especially if they can keep getting subsidies from dumb NBA owners. they'll be able to make a lot from sponsorships and advertising too. i think they'll actually do fairly well from an attendance standpoint. the women's soccer team did pretty well.

but it will still be crappy women's basketball.
