(p, 241) (§ 47)
The records of the Department of Land Registration show that at 31st December, 1916, the total area registered amounted to 4,746,178 dunums (4746 square kilometers)

(§ 52)
The estimated area of land owned by Jews on 31st December, 1946, amounted to 1,624,000 dunums (1624 square kilometers). This figure does not, however, include lands which are occupied by Jews as legal tenants or otherwise, but of which the ownership is not registered in the land registries in the names of Jews.
Excluding Beersheba Sub-district the land area of Palestine is 13,743 square kilometres.
The sub district of Beersheba is 12,600 square kilometers
