Luke 23
6 When Pilate heard this, he asked whether the man was a Galilean. 7 And when he learned that he was under Herod’s jurisdiction, he sent him off to Herod, who was himself in Jerusalem at that time.
Judea was not under Herod’s jurisdiction. Galilee was.
Matthew 21
11 The crowds were saying, “This is the prophet Jesus from Nazareth in Galilee.”
Matthew 26
69 Now Peter was sitting outside in the courtyard. A female servant came to him and said, “You also were with Jesus the Galilean.”
Mark 1
9 In those days Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan.
