move inland to an evacuation site. They still have phone service I suspect. Call someone.

It isn't that complicated, except for the dumb.

This false narrative that they are on their own to ride it out, and there isn't anyone willing to help has become tiresome.

You probably can't take all your stuff, but you can get a ride to to somewhere safe.
