is more popular than the NHL. Now that players like Messi and others are heading over it's only going to get worse for the NHL.

The NHL is a dying sport. And yes I realize Messi is old and on his way out, but he is still a massive draw everywhere he goes.

This type of thing will continue to happen. I can maybe name two players in the NHL total. I bet if you ask 100 sports fans 5 could name more than 2.
