the B1G, since the (current 16) SEC members have reached the 4-team playoff at a *significantly higher rate* than the (current 18) B1G members.
In reality, the SEC is going to get 4 teams in regardless, via at-large bids. It doesn't need an AQ guarantee.
The B1G, on the other hand, would certainly benefit from 4 guaranteed bids... and most likely, would steal a bid from a more-deserving SEC team.
As I said before, the SEC would be *fools* to agree to this – as would the ACC and XII.
