about this. Coaches' buyout amounts rarely are reduced. At least in cases where the coach (proactively moves). When you fire a coach, that's a whole other issue. But voluntary moves by a coach most often are paid in full (usually by the destination school. Case in point, LSU paid 100% of Baker's 950k buyout. We didn't reduce that, why would we? Because we're afraid of litigation, it's a solid contract w/ no grounds for reduction. There is something in her contract, or something that happened, that made us willing to negotiate. I just want to know what that is.
