he (and most liberals) are p*ssed off neither person has been successful in actually killing Trump.
1). They actually wish Trump was dead
2). Since he wasn't killed, they're upset that potentially helps Trump with voters
3). They're upset they know this makes their side look bad, and some people might start realizing who the crazy side is
It would be really easy to just say it's never OK for this sort of violence to go on regardless of who the target is. But when you really wish that target was dead, the mental gymnastics kick in.
