bid to the championship tournament. The PAC orphans had no choice but to take in lesser regional schools. The hopes of WSU and OSU were dashed when the Big12 failed to invite them. The Big12 is essentially a collection of orphans nobody in the Power Two conferences wanted. I expect West Virginia to escape to the ACC within the next year or two. The Big 12, ACC and Big 10 make no geographic sense. Only the SEC remains a regional conference.
