She shook her head and acted stunned and outraged, but she never said anything and was never asked to answer that charge. Trump's points that he needed to make were made in a rushed fashion, and his own version of word salad that was rambling and not concise, and she never had to respond to them. The moderators didn't follow up and say "hey chuckles what do you think about what Trump just said about Gun confiscation?"

She didn't just get a free pass from the moderators, she got major assists from them. Trump got corrected a few times.

And the question about how illegal crossings have decreased drastically was just an ugly lie by ABC. Trump needed to call them out for that and he didn't. He had to do more than she had to do. He didn't.
