The Aztec empire was defeated by less than 1000 Spaniards. They put an end to human sacrifice, gave these Stone Age people civilization, and brought them Christianity.

Remember this the next time you hear about stolen land in North America. If it wasn’t for great men like Cortes these people would still be worshipping the sun, living in huts, and killing each other in tribal warfare as they did centuries prior.
