1. Yeah, Trump isn't a fiscal conservative, but he is less bad than Kamala or any Democratic alternative.
2. I don't think that any president, no matter how good, would be able to significantly cut government size and spending in one term without an overwhelming mandate from the people and a solid majority in Congress and the Senate that would back him up by introducing and passing the bills that need to be passed. I don't think we will come anywhere close to a mandate, nor strong congressional majorities in this coming election.
Ronald Reagan ran on a platform of cutting government control and spending, and he made some headway in some areas, and he had a huge mandate, but he still had higher spending than when he went in. Some of that is built into the system. It took a long time to get to this point and will probably take a long time to cut it back in a major way. Most of what needs to be done requires the legislative branch to pass the bills to do so.
3. The president does have huge control over the executive branch and if elected, I think Trump will make a valiant effort this time to 'drain the swamp'. A near perfect cleanup of the mess that is our federal bureaucracy is undoubtedly impossible for any president to do in 4 years, but he could at least clear out some of the largest cancerous tumors metastasizing as we speak.
Bottom line, Trump has some serious flaws, but is head and shoulders above Kamala, who would be doing her best to continue and accelerate the destruction of this country in the hands of her evil puppet masters. That alone, to my mind, justifies voting for Trump.
