The ncaa is worthless at this point and time. It can only exist if there is cooperation among members. At some point, there is no reason for the SEC or Big 10 to cooperate as they can stand on their own perfectly fine. I think the ACC and Big 12 can too but simply can’t command the same revenue stream. They need to learn to live with what they are. “National” championships are not that important in the new era of super leagues where simply winning that league should be looked at as a huge deal. I’m all for a TV network putting together made for TV
Invitational tournaments and “playoffs” but the leagues simply don’t have to live by the same rules. This the NCAA is a toothless agency, dying a slow death to exist for maybe the D2/D3 schools that don’t have the same commercial opportunities.
