1) I think she’s going to get an instant bump in the polls which will show her beating Trump in some if not all battleground states.
2) Unlike her previous dysfunctional staffs she’s going to get the A-list of the A-list operatives of the Democratic machine.
3) The Democrats have gone from dejected to stoked. Momentum breeds momentum.
4) Speculation over a VP pick is going to dominate the news cycle for weeks – in a good way.
5) She’s not a clean break from the Biden admin, but she is a break. Inflation in 2024 isn’t what it was in 2021. Smart players can spin that. The economy right now isn’t bad.
6) Did I mention she’s going to get the A-team operatives?
7) Trump is still Trump and he’s obnoxious and unpopular. Vance doesn’t help him in the slightest. If America didn’t want Biden or Trump there’s now a new choice.
8) Trump and most of the GOP is way overconfident and at least a little complacent.
