the new "conservatives" have a rather twisted way of engaging in interventionism.
They aren't intervening around the world bringing liberty to oppressed people. Certainly they aren't doing so militarily in Africa or Asia or South America or Central America.
They do send the CIA to those places, but typically to assassinate their presidents who don't do what the Deep State wants or to overthrow governments for the same reason.
It is a twisted and evil foreign policy that brings misery to most everyone other than the friends of the Deep State.
