You and michigan and others, believe that our rights (whatever they are) are not from government.

Until rights become laws and the laws are written down and fairly applied and enforced the rights don't really exist.

My argument is that from a practical perspective, if you think you have the right to speak but if you do, i'll shoot you in the head, i'm not sure that right exists.

A right is what you think it is.

The law is written down and is what the government says it is. They should be the same.
