majority of Tiger fans is that if Vitello were to ask for a chance to coach at Mizzou today after winning big at Tennessee he'd be turned down just like before.

People with the power at MU have zero state pride and no interest whatever in accomplishing great things in baseball. 99% of D1 schools would have jumped at the chance to hire a great recruiter and extremely successful pitching coach who had MLB stars all in with the hire and promising their financial support.

Not caring and wanting fruitless results is the only way an honest, intelligent person can interpret what happened when Mizzou went looking for Jamison's successor.
