is ass-backwards. If we make nice with putin, as joe has tried so hard to do, why in the hell would poot not just continuing doing what he has, figuring we'll never bother him since joe is so nice to him.

Incredibly stupid way to conduct foreign policy with someone like putin - but we've done it since WWII. And basically lost about every war because of it. God we never learn.
