I can’t wait to see the freak of nature Williams Nwaneri next year

I think a lot of people are overlooking Gracial and Marshall as red shirt defensive linemen who can and will contribute next year.

Along with McClennan - transfer from Florida

Chuck Hicks and Triston Newson started at LB for the majority of the second half of the season and the bowl game and were solid.

Norwood and Toriano Pride are very good corners

Charleston, McNeil and others (who I’m not thinking of right now) man the safety posts.

I’m missing plenty of people on this post including the transfer defensive end from Michigan State, transfer linebackers from Georgia and Miami (Flagg), etc

And it was said that when Drink was asked about his new defensive coordinator and defensive end coaches, he had the knowing smile of the cat who just ate the canary.

I could be dead wrong - but I think our defense will be more than fine.
