Catholicism doesn't say that a man should be the bread winner and the woman be the primary homemaker.

And before people start replying with Bible verses, Catholicism is not solely what is taught from the Old Testament.

His message was fine. He shouldn't have addressed that to the just the women though. Being a good parent and involved with your kids is a message to both genders.
