Would be where each side gets to choose a questioner for the other party's candidate. This can be done in a one hour conversation between just the two of them. The questioner could be openly antagonistic to the candidate. Like joy Reed could question Trump or Mark Levin could question whispering Joe Biden.

Take the gloves off, don't pretend you're non-partisan and ask what are clearly hostile, even gotcha questions and see if you can draw blood from your opponent.

The candidate could decline to answer and that may reveal either that the question was out of line or that the candidate was too much of a wimp to answer.

It would be very, very revealing for both the candidate and the person selected to ask the questions.
