there would be no need for scheduling Tier 2 teams. It would be similar to the NFL.

The Tier 2 teams would have their own playoff. The problem with the way it is structured now is the much weaker Big 12 conference has a MUCH easier path to make it to the playoffs.

The SEC and BIG schools don't like that, and won't put up with it for long. It will take some time for them to officially break away, but it's coming.

It's deserving to fan bases like k-State, kU, etc...that were all making fun of MU for leaving for the SEC. Saying things like we'll never compete, and it was the dumbest mistake ever. Now look who's on the outside looking in about to find out they will never get to play for a Natty again unless they get chosen pretty quickly.
