It's not like they are one of the Dakota schools or App st.
I went there back in the 80's. They tried to compare their coach who struggled to 5-6 every year to Bear Bryant once. They've been decent in basketball from time to time, baseball ok I guess. There's no great love of football in the area, and there is generally not a lot of money either. IDK why they're going this direction except they sign up to get destroyed OOC every year by someone in D1, usually Okla St.
