then every SEC team needs to get rid of the FCS garbage like Murray State and Charleston Southern and the Sunbelt trash and play the decent Big 10, Big 12 and ACC teams out of conference. That's the only fair way to do it. If almost every SEC team schedules a bunch of crap every year and a maybe a single weak Power 4 team then you don't deserve it. You can't be "judged" as being a superior conference if you just beating up on each other and claiming subjective superiority. I'd be all in favor of a sixth place SEC team that had wins over USC, Pittsburgh and Penn State and went 4-4 in the conference.
