fairly independent or old school democrat into very emotional, get offended by everything liberal mindset once Trump took office.

I'm no Trump fan but it's amazing the impact he's had in a lot of ways. Dude is literally the most decisive figure the nation has ever seen. Most people either love him to the point they think he's the savior no matter what he does/says, or hate him to the point they think he's the biggest disaster in the history of man kind and secretly wish he'd be murdered, and would probably get a woody watching him get tortured Hostel movie style.
