One of the most highly regarded evangelical New Testament scholars, Richard B Hays, has a new book (The Widening of God's Mercy: Sexuality Within the Biblical Story) coming out where he has changed his stance on homosexuality.

His 1996 book, The Moral Vision of the New Testament, is among the most cited in objecting to homosexuality.
