a long time ago I dated a gal in Jeff City and once I took Amtrak on Friday afternoon. It was glorious; made it in about 3 hours vs. the 2 it took to drive, but it was a relaxing 3 hours. Was able to enjoy reading a good book the entire time.

Was scheduled to take it back to KC on Sunday....after it was late by over 8 hours, my GF was gracious enough to drive me back Sunday night. We made it back to my place at like midnight.

Never again.
