Just from KC to STL we pulled over a minimum of ten times to let a freight train, that had the right of way, pass.
I realize that freight trains pay the bills but why would I take a train again when a three-hour trip by car took five by rail and when I got to my transfer point I was stuck and had no transportation?
I don't think this is an uncommon occurrence on this route.
