Those folks are not going to be able to afford a new place either OR have even the downpayment/damage-deposit for the next place
I guess they have to go crash with someone they know.
We have a tenant that moved from AZ from a $2600/month payment to our $1900/month plus lower utilities during the pandemic.
They are now starting to be late on payments ... making two per month etc and I hope it doesn't get worse but we are chill on extra fees as it only makes it worse.
The economy is awful with Bidens Inflation Creation Act. It will crash
