The uber-talented Buckeyes came to play, as evidenced by the hard hitting their defense did throughout the game. Game was up for grabs going into the 4th quarter. As Drink said after the game,

“We put our fist up, and we said we’re not giving in. We’re faster, stronger, tougher than you in the fourth quarter, and we got an elite edge, and we’re not going to be denied. And now we’re the Cotton Bowl champs!”

Beer never tasted so good as it did afterwards at Texas Live.
