The govt own's Yellowstone to preserve it's natural beauty for the Public good and enjoyment.

You know this I suspect, the idea was the Govt would protect some Natural wonders from basic human nature.

I will not lie if they Put Yellowstone up for sale and I had the Means to purchase it and get Wealthy of exploiting it, I'd have not issue doing so at all. Clear Cutting, Mining, over development of the property would not be even a concern or thought in my mind. $$$$$$$ for myself and family would be the only goal as it should be.
