Why do you twist things around just to keep attacking

when you know damn well that 'cash' isn't some kind of 'investment'.
Cash is not an investment, nor should people hold cash for anything but the liquidity necessary to keep the bills paid.
Everything else should be invested in something and the only reason Buffett has the cash he has is because HE CAN'T FIND ANYTHING to invest in, not because he thinks the end of the world is coming and EVERYTHING is about to become worthless or some other cockeyed reason.
BUT, you had to dive in because you desperate to prove me wrong and attack.
So you get what you deserve.
Today, people are not saying 'invest in cash' because that's stupid.
If you believe in certain businesses in the economy you can invest in those.
If you believe in a sector or even an indicator there are plenty of funds to invest in those.
And if you think the end times are here you can junk silver or gold or whatever you think will appreciate the most in the end times.
But cash, in a time when the government is printing money like crazy is a dumb investment and yes, even Buffett understands that though he is saddled with 168B which needs a home.
