the portal game year after year. Sometimes the pieces don’t fit. Sometimes you don’t get the pieces that you want/need. It is why you must develop some stability through HS recruits that you get to stay around for a few years and then cut your portal shopping to 1-2 guys instead of 3-4-5+.

Should we be disappointed in Gates this year? Absolutely
Is this year a sign that he sucks and should be fired? We don’t know yet.
If so, what was last year?
