Without him we're not competitive. But with him and Bates we've generally been competitive as you said.

Defense is incredibly bad. The reliance on Honor/Carter late in close games was a clear issue before conference play and has continued. I haven't understood the substitution patterns either.

I don't think they go 0-18. At some point they'll win 1-2 of these close games just by chance.
