Many of you seem to be confused.
These are the facts:
He was found civilly liable for sexual abuse, though not liable for rape. This was because he was accused by Carroll of, among other things, forcibly penetrating her vagina with his finger without her consent.
This was in a New York court. Under NY law, using your finger is not rape, although in many places that is considered rape.
There was no physical evidence to support the claim, but there was testimony from Carroll, which, of course, is evidence. Many cases are decided solely on oral evidence without physical or eyewitness evidence to corroborate. And it is hardly surprising to any trial lawyer that a man who bragged about grabbing women by the pussy would be found to have taken it one step further without consent.
Bottom line, a jury of nine fair and impartial jurors found that Trump was lying when he denied having done this, which is also not surprising since he is well known to be a pathological liar who rarely if ever tells the truth.
