He has scored 17 total baskets across our first 23 games and has almost no defined role and hasn’t gotten double digit minutes in a game since 2023. He could very realistically transfer this offseason and be forgotten and also very realistically be our second leading scorer next season. Other than East/Bates he is probably our most talented current player and almost certainly the most talented freshman/sophomore in the program.

I think the direction his MU career goes in will align with the direction Gates tenure goes in. Pretty difficult to envision a scenario next season where we are successful without him taking a huge leap forward or us bringing in a player like him to replace what he has the potential to bring to the table.
