That’s another one of them.
In football you don’t teams competing for the playoff bringing in 70-80 players a year.
In basketball it’s mostly the same. Major roster turnover doesn’t lead to consistent winning.
The path is stacking good prep recruiting classes. Retain and develop enough of them. Then fill holes with ready to play transfers. Something around 3 per year.
Mizzou has tried the whole roster turnover thing the last 3 seasons. It’s led to 2 terrible seasons and 1 good season.
