Name 1 high school recruit either of them developed into an impact player at this level.
It doesn't appear to me they teach player skills development. Instead it appears they teach their system.
It doesn't appear to me Honor and Carter have developed.
In fact they at best are the same if not worse.
Contrast that with Jontay Porter who progressed significantly from November to March.
The answer to your excellent question therefore is they probably would be just as bad as the players Gates and his staff are currently coaching. The point is Gates ran them off and this in 100% his team and he is a self proclaimed excellent evaluator of talent. The talent is excellent but they are in last place.
